CARE
&MAINTENANCE
Rubber or vinyl has a tendency to crack under dry conditions over the years. With proper care and maintenance, you will be able to preserve their overall aesthetic appeal and allows them to remain functional for many good years. And, to give optimal life span of the rubber products, regular cleaning is necessary.
What to do?
- Mix mild liquid detergent with warm water in a small bucket. Using a clean cloth, gently remove accumulated surface dust, dirt particles and allow it to air dry completely.
- Apply a layer of silicon-based solvent on the rubber surface. Silicon is resistance to heat, detergents, fuels and other corrosive agents, which gives a protective layer over the material.
- During the cleaning process, DO NOT USE oil, greases, petroleum-based products, acetone, turpentine, and acidic or alkaline-based solvents. ALL these can damage the rubber's integrity and performance.
- Avoid using scouring pads and steel wool to remove stubborn stains. This will leave permanent scratch marks on the surface or even permanently take away the original luster of the rubber.
